ROUND 2 FOR BRANDON SANDERSON'S FANTASY SAGA "THE WHEEL OF TIME" SEASON 2: First Photos from Set

Fans will be able to immerse themselves once again in Amazon's dark fantasy world as early as late summer. It has taken a while, but we finally have a new sign of life for Amazon's fantasy spectacle, "The Wheel of Time." In a teaser, the tech giant announces that the great hunt will begin on September 1 for Season 2. The brief text overlay in the footage is quite noticeable. Perhaps knowledgeable fans can share some insights about it in the comments.

We now know that a whole host of new faces has been cast for Season 2 of "The Wheel of Time," and work is already underway for the third season, which has already been greenlit. A total of eight new episodes will be released weekly starting in September on Amazon Prime Video. The first episode will be titled "A Taste of Solitude."

Admittedly, the video snippet for "The Wheel of Time" is not particularly spectacular, but at least we now know that the release of the second season is only a few months away.
